He started on fire..involved straight away..then faded and lost his way...but means nothing...first game for a new club with a load of reserves/ kids.

Plenty of good signs for sure.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Apparently he played well first half but I only saw the second and he did very little
Tbf to him not sure you can judge a wide player whe he's got maiga and Nolan to feed off of

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Good point macca..

Very strange why he would go to the Middle East from River Plate at his age and apparent talent.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
This is all well and good but why hasn't he played for any European clubs in his career?, normally the top young South American players end up at SPanish or Italian clubs.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
A work in progress i would say..definite good signs there though.

Looked good...technically sound...

Younger...fitter...skinnier Zarate type...

Could do well if he can adapt to physical Prem style...

Don't hold your breath, if they were intending to spend more then it would have been done by now. They'll be after more loans who no-ones heard of.

If Zarate, Amal and Jarvis are in consideration then so is this kid.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Came into preseason late and before last night he had only played half a game. Will be a big asset once match fit and with better players... will be a great asset from the bench and could well force himself into the first team.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Not ready as a first team regular yet but there is talent. Needs to be schooled in team play and when and when not to employ the flair and skills. A bit of work in the gym for strength and build stamina and we might have a player.

Never seen him. Next.

Re: Manuel Lanzini
Needs time and he could go either way. We need bigger signings if we are going to move on. They really need to start spending a few quid.
